APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customized instructions created by the z/OS Profile
  Management Tool include some steps which are no longer
  relevant. Specifically: (1) SCHEDxx changes are no longer
  needed after z/OS 1.9, and (2) instructions for JDK selection
  no longer apply to Version 8.5, now that optional JDK's are no
  longer supported, and are not needed at all in Version 9.0.
  Customer confusion or needless work can results from the
  extraneous instruction steps.

Problem conclusion

• The Profile Management Tool for z/OS has been updated to
  remove the unnecessary customization steps.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix
