    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The size of the root addressable area *
    * (RAA) for PHDAM can be smaller than *
    * expected after running MAINTAIN. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
The maximum relative block number in the RECON data set is not
inherited and the maximum relative block number after
repartitioning was calculated based on the rbn of the DBD.
Under this condition, the size of the root addressable area can
be smaller than expected after running MAINTAIN.

In addition, the following fix has been applied in this APAR.
    - When running MAINTAIN with ONLINE(Y), only some partitions
are processed and partition selection exit DFSPSE00 is defined
in RECON, MAINTAIN can get TRERR IHCYPS15 0999 because all
partitions are not defined in a temporary RECON.

Problem conclusion

  • - Code has been changed to inherite the maximum relative block
number in the RECON data set after running MAINTAIN.
    - Code has been changed to define all partitions in a temporary
RECON when running MAINTAIN with ONLINE(Y) even if only some
      partitions are processed.

Temporary fix
