PH67130: STORAGE ALLOCATED INTERNALLY BY CICSPLEX SM IS ALLOCATED IN USER KEY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Prior to CPSM 6.1, all storage allocated internally by
  CICSPlex SM was allocated in CICS key, whereas in 6.1 and 6.2
  some storage is being allocated in USER key instead.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CPSM internal storage is allocated in   *
  *                      user key storage and prior to CICS TS   *
  *                      6.1 it was always allocated in CICS     *
  *                      key.                                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: The PTFs addressing this APAR should be      *
  *                 applied to all CPSM regions, and the regions *
  *                 should be restarted. The restart of CICS     *
  *                 regions can be performed in any order.       *
  ****************************************************************
  Prior to CICS TS 6.1, CPSM internal storage was allocated using
  the EXECKEY(CICS). However, the CPSM internal storage obtained
  in EYU0XSCG now incorrectly requests its internal storage using
  the EXECKEY(USER). As a result, CPSM may exhibit unexpected
  behavior due to change in storage key.
  

Problem conclusion

• EYU0XSCG has been updated to ensure that CPSM internal storage
  is obtained using the CICS key.
