Error description

  • This APAR contains enhancements in the -DISPLAY BLOCKERS
command and the BLOCKING_THREADS table function.

    1. Drain locks (SUBTYPE '14', '15' and '16') will be processed
by the -DISPLAY BLOCKERS command and the BLOCKING_THREADS table
    function.

    2. The partition number of partition level claims will be
available in the PAGENUM_OR_RID column in the BLOCKING_THREADS
table function and the lines with the "PAGE/RID" header in
the output of the -DISPLAY BLOCKERS command.

    3. When the OBID column refers to an index page set object
descriptor, the NAME column will be the index space name
    rather than the index name.

    4. The product identifier (PRDID) in DBINFO structure was set
according to Db2 12 values but not to Db2 13 values. With this
APAR, PRDID in DBINFO is fixed to set according to Db2 13
values to support future enhancements in the BLOCKING_THREADS
    table function.

This APAR contains enhancements in the -DISPLAY BLOCKERS
command and the BLOCKING_THREADS table function.

    1. The following drain locks will now be reported by the
-DISPLAY BLOCKERS command and the BLOCKING_THREADS table
    function:
CS drain lock - subtype '14'
RR drain lock - subtype '15'
WR drain lock - subtype '16'

    2. The partition number of partition level claims will now be
reported in the PAGENUM_OR_RID column in the BLOCKING_THREADS
table function and the lines with the "PAGE/RID" header in
the output of the -DISPLAY BLOCKERS command.

    3. When the OBID column refers to an index page set object
descriptor, the NAME column will now reflect the index space
name rather than the index name.

    4. When the OBID column refers to an index page set object
descriptor, the QUALIFIER column returned by the
BLOCKING_THREADS function will now reflect the database name
    rather than the index schema.

    5. The -DISPLAY BLOCKERS command without the DETAIL option will
now display a new maximum of 8000 locks and claims. The limit
    was previously 5000.

Additionally, the product identifier (PRDID) in DBINFO
structure, which is an input to any external UDF/stored
procedure, was set incorrectly to Db2 12 values. With this
APAR, PRDID in DBINFO is set according to Db2 13 values.
