PH67057: JZOS SMF 121 DATE IS BEING WRITTEN IN THE WRONG FORMAT

  IFASMFDL (the SMF log stream dump program) fails to retrieve SMF
  records written by JZOS ZUtil.smfRecord() when filtering by
  date. The JZOS ZUtil.smfRecord() API writes SMF records with an
  incorrect sign character in the packed format value of the date
  field.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The issue occurs when JZOS records the date information in the
  SMF 121 record with an incorrect last nibble value. The last
  nibble is expected to be 'F'; if it is not, any program that
  validates this nibble may fail to correctly interpret or
  retrieve the SMF 121 data.
  

Problem conclusion

• JZOS has been updated to correctly generate the final nibble in
  the date field of the SMF 121 record, ensuring it is set to the
  expected value of 'F'.
