PH66996: THE ACCEL LOADER SERVER (HLV) REGISTRATION, IS UNSUCCESSFUL IN RESOLVING THE CORRECT HOSTNAME OF AN HLV INSTANCE DURING DISCOVER

APAR status

Error description

• The Accel Loader server (HLV) registration attempts to resolve
  the hostname using the lpar name. Though in some cases the
  hostname could be resolved successfully, but it is not always
  the case, as the customer environment configurations will differ
  such that the lpar name and the hostname could be entirely
  different. With the unsuccessful resolving of hostname the
  registration of HLV continues and the invalid hostnames gets
  saved in Admin Foundation registration. This further causes
  failure while connecting the HLV instance using the invalid
  hostname.
  
  
  This issue will be addressed with an enhancement to Accel
  Loader server discovery to also fetch the hostname from the HLV
  server configuration. The HLV server parameter OEHOSTDOMAIN
  needs to be configured for the desired hostname to be used by
  Accel Loader server discovery and registration.
