  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Introducing Db2 13 function level       *
  *                      V13R1M508.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Enables activation of Db2 13 for z/OS function level V13R1M508.

  This APAR also enables support for the following FL 508
  features:
  1. New Db2-supplied user-defined function (UDF)
     SYSIBMADM.BLOCKING_THREADS2.
  
     - In sample job DSNTIJRT, the following configuration
       control statement is added under the CFIGIN DD for
       the new UDF:
  
         SYSIBMADM.BLOCKING_THREADS2
           WLMENV(DSNWLM_GENERAL)
           GRANTTO(PUBLIC)
  
     - The DSNTRIN program which the sample job DSNTIJRT
       executes is enhanced to install and configure the
       new UDF.
  
     - The DSNTRVFY program which the sample job DSNTIJRV
       executes is enhanced to validate the new UDF.
  
  2. Increase in the number of active logs from 93 to 1000 per
     log copy.
  
     - Additional jobs DSNTIJLx (x=1 to 8) are generated by the
       CLIST to preformat active logs 94 and greater when the
       CLIST is run with the following settings:
        - Panel DSNTIPA1 : INSTALL TYPE = INSTALL
        - Panel DSNTIP00 : TARGET FUNCTION LEVEL = V13R1M508 or
                          higher
        - Panel DSNTIPL :  NUMBER OF LOGS = 94 or higher
  
     - New sample job DSNTIJCU is introduced which converts the
       Db2 BSDS to expanded format to support up to 1000 active
       log data sets per log copy.
  
     - DSNTXAZP tool and the Db2-supplied stored procedure
       SYSPROC.GET_SYSTEM_INFO are modified to process the
       new "Record trace - IFCID 104 - Log Data Set" layout
       after function level 508 is activated.
  
  In addition to the above changes, the Db2 installation CLIST
  is also enhanced to support the FL 508 features.
