APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When creating a Debug Configuration via: Run->Debug
  Configurations...->z/OS Batch Application using existing JCL.
  Under the Debug Options tab, users can use the field  z/OS
  Debugger data set, to enter a data set to add to their STEPLIB
  concatenation. However the field only accepts a sequential flat
  file or member. It does not allow for a PDS or PDS/E to be
  selected and a CRRDG8020E message is displayed:
  
  CRRDG8020E The specified item <data set name> could not be
  found.

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in versions 16.0.8 and 17.0.2 for the
  following products:
  - IBM Debug for z/OS
  - IBM Developer for z/OS
  - IBM Developer for z/OS Enterprise Edition
