• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Calling z/OSMF REST API to download a binary file with gzip
  compression resulted in loss of data chunks.
  The Content-Length header was being calculated and set
  incorrectly in the response which was causing missing chunks of
  data toward the end.

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved by removing the content length
  header on compression request.
