**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of z/OS Connect V3.0 API requester * * policy support (OpenAPI 3). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: AbendU4094 reported in an API requester * * program using policy support. * **************************************************************** When using the OpenAPI 3 API requester policy support, the policy selector to be used in the z/OS Connect server is set using the BAQR-POLICY-SELECTION (COBOL) or BAQR_POLICY_SELECTION (PL/I) property in the API requester program. Storage corruption occurs when preparing the API requester policy header which results in the reported abendU4094 reason code 0000002C.

z/OS Connect has been corrected to prevent the storage corruption when preparing an API requester policy header, allowing the request to complete without the abendU4094 being reported. The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for z/OS Connect V3.0.93.0 (PH66161).
