Error description

  • On a Japanese Windows OS, the Impact Analysis for PL/1 Report
exported as a PDF does not display Japanese characters. The
report exporeted in other formats shows Japanese with no issue.

Problem summary


    

  • When trying to export the Impact Analysis for PL1 Report in PDF
format in Japanese language, the Japanese characters are not
shown in the PDF file.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Some specific encoding parameters were not set for the Impact
Analysis for PL1 report. Added the parameters and the report is
now showing Japanese characters.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • The fix will be available in ADDI 6.1.3 ifix3 and ADDI 6.1.4
ifix2.
