  • Possible S0C1/S0C4 ABEND may occur in STEPM/STEP4 when the
product writes the message about failed character conversion to
the INFOM DD.

Local fix

  • set the option 'SEND INFORMATIONAL MESSAGES TO FILE' to 'N' in a
MODEPARM.
