  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Compatibility changes to the CPSM       *
  *                      ESSS address space for subsequent       *
  *                      releases of CPSM.                       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF which resolves        *
  *                 this APAR, the linklist must be updated      *
  *                 before attempting to start a new CPSM ESSS   *
  *                 (Environment Services System Services)       *
  *                 address space (EYUXnnn). The CPSM ESSS       *
  *                 address space is started on an MVS image any *
  *                 time a CMAS executes and the ESSS is not     *
  *                 already active.                              *
  *                                                              *
  *                 An ESSS restart or IPL is required if ESSS   *
  *                 is already active.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                 In either case, after this update has been   *
  *                 applied to the ESSS module (EYU9Xnnn) in the *
  *                 linklist on an MVS image, all connecting     *
  *                 CMAS, MAS and API regions on that MVS image  *
  *                 must also have this update applied to all    *
  *                 SEYU* data sets before attempting to         *
  *                 reconnect.                                   *

  This APAR addresses changes to the ESSS address space, to
  improve compatibility with subsequent CICSPlex SM releases and
  CPSM utilities.
