APAR status

Error description

  • If there are gaps in the FIELDnnn statements (e.g. FIELD2 then
    FIELD15) then constants for a field may not be picked up and
    zeros likely used. If zeros are not valid for a field, the
    load will fail.

  • Ensure there are no gaps in the FIELDnnn indexing statements
    

Problem summary

    When converting from unicode to the document code page, not all
    of the FIELDnnn statements will be converted if there are gaps
    in the FIELDnnn statements.  Depending on the contents of
    storage, the load may fail with ARS1129E
    

Problem conclusion

  • ARGL390C is changed to convert all FIELDnnn statement values to
    the document code page
