  • NEW FUNCTION
    
    The COBOL Runtime has been enhanced to allow the
    inclusion of a decimal point, leading and/or trailing spaces
    in decimal digits in addition to optional leading '+' or '-'
    signs
    in the JSON string when the receiver is numeric,
    numeric-edited, external floating-point, or internal
    floating-point.
    
    If a decimal point is present before or between decimal digits
    the JSON string is treated as fixed-point non-integers. If
    DECIMAL-POINT IS COMMA clause is specified under the
    SPECIAL-NAMES paragraph, this enhancement will
    interpret comma as a decimal point and parse the JSON
    string accordingly.
    
    Example: "+123", "-1.23", " 123", " 123 ", "  -.123 " -> Valid
    Example: "12+", "+. 13", "12 3", "  12 -", " 12,,3 "->Not Valid
