Error description

• The parameter "FASTRELEASE" is a TCP/IP sub-parameter available
  in the CHCCMMXX configuration control data set.
  This sub-parameter and its associated functionalities will be
  removed as it is a deprecated functionality.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In certain scenarios a subscription may *
  *                      attempt to take over idle communication *
  *                      links that are pending termination.     *
  ****************************************************************
  When FASTRELEASE is set to NO, communication links may remain
  idle up to 10 minutes. If a new subscription takes over the
  idle link during this period, it may cause mis-assigned
  connections and invalid negotiation sequences.
  

Problem conclusion

• The configuration parameter FASTRELEASE is decommissioned and
  communication links will now attempt to terminate under
  10 seconds of the subscription ending.
