Periodic or ad-hoc collection of Db2 instrumentation data
causes high CPU consumption in collector address space
predominantly when client application or client user statistics
as well as Db2 profile statistics are collected.

Problem conclusion

  • Processing of the respective collector Db2 data retrieval
requests has been optimized to consume less CPU cycles by
processing the data more efficiently.
