• When compiling a program with multiple literals that are powers
  of 2, the optimizer transforms the program in a way that
  produces a faster compiled program but slows down the compiler
  when it does further optimizations.

• Compile at OPT(0) or ARCH(11) or substitute the literals with
  their product.
