Error description

  • Users can encounter the error "IZPJT0001E - The template 'jcl/d
b2/templates/product/registerSubsystem/01-registerSubsystem/def
ault.jcl'does not exist" when creating or updating a Db2 subsyst
registration if they have applied UMS PTF UI99021 and not
applied either Db2 DevOps Experience PTF UI99020 or Db2
Administration PTF UI99019. The scope of this APAR is to have
clearer Hold Action explaining the relationship.


Affected users: Users of the Unified Management Server for
z/OS with Db2 experiences enabled

Local fix

  • Users who have applied UMS PTF UI99021 and should also apply
the applicable PTF(s) for the experience(s) they have enabled,
either Db2 DevOps Experience PTF UI99020 or Db2 Administration
PTF UI99019.
