PH64610: ABEND0C4 IN DFHCULIS USING DFHCSDUP UTILITY TO LIST GROUP.. OBJECT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This is an abend0c4 in DFHCULIS using the CSDUP utility to LIST
  GROUP(..) OBJECT.
  
  
  The symptoms were that a URIMAP object with a very long PATH
  length looked to have caused the abend0c4.
  The SYSPRINT still showed the object printed and at the bottom
  of the output gives message:
  DFH5623 S THE PRIMARY CSD HAS BEEN CLOSED DURING CLEAN-UP
  PROCESSING FOLLOWING THE INTERCEPTION OF AN ABEND.
  
  
  In more detail it was found that this occurs when a parameter
  is longer than one line and then a second or subsequent line's
  last character was in the very last column of the line. (There
  is a calculation that works out how much of this line to print
  out which is not correct).

  When running the CICS offline utility, DFHCSDUP, it is possible
  it may suffer an abend 0C4.
  This abend will happen when running DFHCSDUP with the options
  LIST GROUP OBJECT and the GROUP being listed contains a resource
  which includes a parameter which can have a length up to 255
  characters, eg URIMAPs PATH or ENQMODELs ENQNAME.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHCULIS has been changed to ensure when writing out a resource
  containing a long parameter DFHCSDUP does not abend 0C4.
