• Document Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS Common
  Components (ADFzCC) server return codes and update product
  messages to include additional information related to the return
  codes.

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of ADFz Common Component Server.   *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the ADFz CC server is configured     *
  *                      to use pass tickets, but the user ID    *
  *                      associated with the server does not     *
  *                      have sufficient authority to create     *
  *                      pass tickets, it writes out a severe    *
  *                      message and the server terminates. The  *
  *                      return code in the error message does   *
  *                      not match the return code with which    *
  *                      the server ends.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  The difference in return codes recorded in the message
  indicating that the server cannot create pass tickets and the
  return code with which the server ends created confusion as
  to whether the pass ticket authorization was the cause of the
  server ending abnormally.
  

Problem conclusion

• The message indicating there is insufficient authority to
  create pass tickets has been updated to also indicate that this
  will cause the server to end with return code 12.
