PH64540: DSNTESQ RETURNS ROWS FOR SYSPACKDEP AND SYSPACKSTMTDEP DEPENDENCIES FOR A DROPPED TABLESPACE WHEN PHASE-OUT COPIES EXIST

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Some of the DSNTESQ queries - QUERY58 , QUERY60 , QUERY73 and
  QUERY75 - return rows for dependencies on SYSIBM.SYSPACKDEP or
  SYSPACKSTMTDEP for packages whose tablespace has been already
  dropped when there are phased-out copies. Having such rows is
  not a problem, but DSNTESQ needs to be updated to filter out
  such rows.

  The following sample queries in DSNTESQ checking for catalog
  inconsistencies did not take statement-level dependency into
  account:
  
  * Query 57, 58, 59, 60, 67, 68, 69, 70, and 71 for SYSPACKDEP
  * Query 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, and 80 for
    SYSPACKSTMTDEP
  
  This resulted in erroneous rows being returned after objects
  were dropped.
  

Problem conclusion

• The affected sample queries have been updated to check for
  statement-level dependencies properly.
