Error description

  • After applying IMS APAR PH31440/PTF UI83769, DFSURGU0 no longer
refers to DFSACBPD DD when IMS managed ACBs is enabled.
Accordingly, the Post-Reorg utility, which internally invokes
the IMS region controller with DFSURGU0 specified, will refer to
the active directory d/s even if the STAGING keyword is
    specified in the DFSACBPD DD.

    ****************************************************************
After applying IMS APAR PH31440/PTF UI83769, HD Reorganization
Unload utility (DFSURGU0) no longer refers to DFSACBPD DD when
IMS managed ACBs is enabled. Accordingly, the Post-Reorg
utility, which internally invokes the IMS region controller with
DFSURGU0 specified, will refer to the active directory d/s even
if the STAGING keyword is specified in the DFSACBPD DD
    statement.
IMS APAR PH53285/PTF UI94145 allows the STAGING keyword to be
specified in the SYSIN DD statement in DFSURGU0.

Problem conclusion

  • Reorg Expert has been modified to internally allocate a SYSIN DD
statement and specify STAGING keyword when STAGING keyword is
specified in the DFSACBPD DD statement.
