PH64360: ADMIN TOOL V13: MISSING TS NAME AND DB NAME WHEN RUNNING SP CMD FOR A DB NAME OR DB PREFIX FOR IN DB/COLL ON ADB21

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DESCRIPTION: On the ADB21 panel , when using Option SP , and
  only entering the name of the database in In DB/Coll field,
  SYSTABLEPART information for the whole database is shown,  but
  the TS NAME is not Displayed.
  TS NAME is being generated when entering line command "/"
  against the displayed output lines.
  This makes it difficult to know which tablespace the row of
  information is for. Also,
   having the DB NAME displayed as well is required if the user
  only enters the Database prefix.  For
  example,  if the SP command is run with DSNDB0 as the IN DB/Coll
  , information is received for DSNDB01 ,
  DSNDB04 & DSNDB06 , but it is not clear which DB or TS the
  information is for unless the user
  enters the "/" command against the row.

  A user issues an SP primary command on panel ADB21 with 'DSN'
  specified for the DB/Coll field.  The panel output on ADB21SP
  shows only the PART column for the partition number; it does
  not have a column for database name or table space name.
  Therefore, the user cannot match the row with the table space
  name.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.  Panel ADB21SP will show the
  database name and table space name for each output row if the
  panel is called from panel ADB21 with primary command SP.
