Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z    *
  *                 Code Optimization Advice 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3     *
  *                 who experience a short profile generation    *
  *                 when running the Z Code Optimization Advice  *
  *                 IVP program or launcher program.             *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The low data profile is generated due   *
  *                      to the RTI initialization delay when    *
  *                      running the Z Code Optimization Advice  *
  *                      IVP or launcher program.                *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The delay is due to an unnecessary      *
  *                      search of the LPA/LLA modules           *
  *                      performed in the RTI initialization     *
  *                      routine. This fix eliminates            *
  *                      superfluous searches.                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The low data profile problem can also   *
  *                      result from running the original COBOL  *
  *                      program with the MVBO (Main View Batch  *
  *                      Optimizer) program. The MVBO is not     *
  *                      compatible with the Z Code              *
  *                      Optimization Advice launcher program.   *
  *                      The MVBO must be disabled when running  *
  *                      the Z Code Optimization launcher        *
  *                      program.                                *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the IBM-provided PTF                   *
