    * compiler options in effect and who need to *
    * view the contents of an ODO table that *
    * resides in the LINKAGE section using either *

    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An incorrect value of the table's ODO *
    * object is displayed and the contents of *
    * the ODO table itself are not displayed *
    * correctly, including the possibility of *
    *                      missing rows.                           *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the IBM-provided PTF                   *
    ****************************************************************
    The DWARF that was generated to describe an ODO table residing
    in the LINKAGE section for a program compiled with the LP(64)
    option in effect was using an incorrect length for the address
    of the table's ODO object.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler was updated to use the correct length of the
    address of the ODO object in the DWARF description of an ODO
    table that resides in the LINKAGE section of a program compiled
    with the LP(64) option in effect.
