• NEW FUNCTION.
  
  When a COBOL program is compiled with a new LSACHECK option,
  erroneous access to LINKAGE SECTION at program runtime
  consequently causes the program to be terminated with an 0C4
  abend. If the COBOL runtime can diagnose the erroneous access,
  new COBOL Runtime messages (IGZ0401W and IGZ0402W) are
  issued prior to the 0C4 abend to assist in locating the
  erroneous access.
