APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When comparing the application call graph vs call chain report.
There is a difference in between.

It seems a specific usage is missing there. it is something
like this :

EXEC SQL
          INCLUDE MYCOPYBK
END-EXEC

and MYCOPYBK contains a full Cobol program with identification
division , which is a subroutine under this program.

In the program list,  the program inside this copybook also
multiple times, because it exists in many other programs as
well.

Problem summary

  • Call chain report is not showing all the call chains.

Problem conclusion

  • Due to a bug in one of our queries, some of the links were not
retrieved from the database and not included in the report.

Temporary fix
