PH63725: Control characters ('00'x-'1f'x) are not all escaped when application data is transformed into JSON not via JVM

  A JSON web service is created in CICS which does not use a JVM
  server.
  
  When CICS transforms the application data into JSON for the
  response a string field contains control characters in
  the range '00'x-'1f'x. Only quote, backslash, slash, backspace,
  form feed, newline, and carriage return are escaped.
  
  The same problem could occur when using EXEC CICS TRANSFORM
  DATATOJSON.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated to ensure that control characters in
  the range '00'x-'1f'x are correctly escaped when transforming
  application data into JSON from a web service or using EXEC CICS
  TRANSFORM DATATOJSON.
