PH63601: MULTI-TARGET CHANGE USES SSID INSTEAD OF GROUP ATTACH NAME FOR THE DATA SHARING GROUP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a multi-target change Analyze or Run job is generated and
  the remote target is on the data sharing group, the SSID of one
  of the members of the data sharing group is used for the
  generated job. The group attach name should be used in this
  case.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Multi-target change (MTC) analyze or    *
  *                      run jobs do not use a group attach name *
  *                      for targets in the data sharing group.  *
  ****************************************************************
  The AN and RN line commands on the MTC generate a job to analyze
  or run all targets of the MTC. But if a remote target of the MTC
  is in the data sharing group, the generated job will use an SSID
  of one of the data sharing group members. This behavior is not
  an error, but the use of a group attach name is preferable.
