  PH44284 added the DALCLOSE SVC99 text unit to the allocation of
  the IMS Catalog data sets when DFS3PU00 runs as a DL/I batch
  program.  The DALCLOSE text unit causes deallocation to take
  place when the data sets are closed.
  
  When the DBALLABOVE parameter is specified, DFSV4400 is called
  to validate and perform the dynamic allocation request.
  
  One of the validations DFSV4400 performs is to allow only
  certain text units to be included in the SVC99 request. If an
  unrecognized text unit is included, DFSV4400 does not perform
  the request and sets RC=0D20.
  
  PH44284 did not modify DFSV4400 to add the DALCLOSE text unit as
  an allowed text unit.  When DBALLABOVE is specified in the
  DFSVSAMP DD and DFSV4400 is called, the omission of the DALCLOSE
  text unit results in RC=0D20.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFSV4400 has been modified to recognize the DALCLOSE text unit.
