• An INSPECT {source} TALLYING {count} FOR LEADING SPACES (or FOR
  ALL SPACES) statement gives an incorrect count, and the
  generated code is found to be using a constant value instead of
  the {source}.

  The compiler didn't account for the REVERSE modifying the first
  data item indirectly (as modifying the value for the second
  item also modifies the value for the first).
