PH63221: RECOVER CHANGE WSL OF A DROPPED TABLESPACE STARTS WITH A START DB COMMAND BEFORE CREATE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When dropping a tablespace with Db2 Admin's Change Manager, it's
  also possible to create a recovery change. However, executing
  this change with line command RC generates a WSL starting with a
  START DATABASE SPACENAME command for this tablespace before the
  CREATE TABLESPACE statement, which will not work since the
  tablespace is not in the catalog.

  *                      dropped table space has a START DB      *
  *                      command for the table space before the  *
  *                      CREATE TABLESPACE statement.            *
  ****************************************************************
  When running a change that includes dropping a table space with
  the specification to recover to original data, the recover
  change WSL has START DATABASE for the table space before the
  table space is created by a CREATE TABLESPACE statement.
  This placement of statements will cause the recover WSL to fail.
