PH63203: IBM MQ Z/OS: IMPROVE PAGE SET OUT-OF-RANGE RBA CHECKING

Error description

• CSQIECUR runs during QMGR startup and checks each page sets
  header page RBA against the current log RBA. The header page set
  RBA can be incorrect, which is most noticeable for page sets
  other than page set 0. This results in scenarios where the page
  set isn't suspended when it should be. If the page set is
  suspended for an out-of-range RBA, then message CSQI053E is
  issued.

  *                      CRESTART was used to set the ENDRBA to  *
  *                      a value that is contained on the        *
  *                      previous log.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  Setting the ENDRBA to a value that is contained on the previous
  log with 'CRESTART CREATE,ENDRBA=...' without also restoring the
  pagesets to a backup that are the same age or older than the log
  leaves the Queue Manager in a state where the pagesets are ahead
  of the log. The Queue Manager fails to recognise this early
  enough during restart processing and does not terminate. The
  Queue Manager should terminate.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been updated to correctly identify this scenario
  early on during Queue Manager Restart processing and the Queue
  Manger will now correctly output message CSQI053E and terminate
  with abend code 5C6-00C94525.

  "The page set is suspended. Queues using the page set will be
  inaccessible until the queue manager is started with the page
  set in a consistent state. If the page set id is 0 then during
  queue manager startup, restart is terminated abnormally with
  completion code X'5C6' and reason code X'00C94531'."

      An attempt to restart whilst page set 0 has not had
      RESETPAGE run was detected.
  
      Message CSQI053E is issued before this error occurs and will
      indicate page set 0 is the affected page set.

      Restart is terminated abnormally with completion code X'5C6'
      and a dump is produced.
