  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The MODIFY STATISTICS utility is        *
  *                      enhanced to support partition level     *
  *                      processing in Db2 V13R1M500 by          *
  *                      specifying a new PART keyword or by     *
  *                      specifying a LIST with the LISTDEF      *
  *                      PARTLEVEL option.                       *

  The MODIFY STATISTICS utility deletes unwanted history
  statistics from the corresponding catalog tables for an
  entire table space, index space, or index.  For
  partitioned objects, it does not allow the deletion of
  history records at the partition level.
  
  Prior to this APAR or if function level is at FL100, when
  PART n keyword is specified along with MODIFY STATISTICS,
  the following message with RC8 will be issued in the job
  statement:
  DSNU049I - INVALID OPERAND 'PART' FOR KEYWORD 'STATISTICS'
  Similarly, if PARTLEVEL keyword is specified along with MODIFY
  STATISTICS LIST, the following message with RC8 is issued:
  DSNU1003I - INVALID LIST FOR MODIFY STATISTICS UTILITY
  
  MODIFY STATISTICS is enhanced in Db2 13 FL500 to support
  partition level processing for partitioned objects.

• MODIFY STATISTICS is enhanced in Db2 13 FL500 to support
  a new PART keyword on the utility statement, and the
  utility is also enhanced to support a LIST with LISTDEF
  PARTLEVEL option specified.
  
  When MODIFY STATISTICS is executed with the PART keyword
  or with LISTDEF with the PARTLEVEL option, the utility
  will delete all the partition level statistics for the
  specified partition(s). It will not delete the history
  statistics for partitions that were not specified. The
  history statistics at the aggregate level, will not be
  deleted.
  
  When MODIFY STATISTICS PART is executed on non-partitioned
  objects, or specified with a partition number that is
  out of range, message DSNU524I will be issued with RC8.
  The utility will not delete any rows in the catalog table.
  
  This APAR will make the following external changes.
