Error description
Having "Language for non-unicode characters" Windows setting, set for "Sweedish (Sweden)" and inside Language file from <install folder>/bin/release containing only SWE, the Mainframe members from a library containing Sweedish national characters were scanned and brought on disk correctly, but they were not displayed correctly in GUI and neither could be opened.

Problem summary
Having "Language for non-unicode characters" Windows setting, set for "Sweedish (Sweden)" and inside Language file from <install folder>/bin/release containing only SWE, the Mainframe members from a library containing Sweedish national characters were scanned and brought on disk correctly, but they were not displayed correctly in GUI and neither could be opened.
Problem conclusion
The national Sweedish characters were altered incorrectly during a conversion when adding them to the project. This conversion seemed to have ignored the "Language for Non-Unicode characters" from Windows, on some operating systems ( could reproduce it on Windows Server but not on Windows 11). Code was modified to explicitely use the system default encoding when adding files to the project, although usually tis is not necessary.
Temporary fix
