Error description

  • The automatically defined channel CLUSSDR transmission queues
are not correctly removed when removing a QMGR from a cluster.
If by additionally deleting the automatically defined channel
CLUSSDR transmission queues, CSQX036E is issued as below when
    the CHINIT is restarted:
CSQX036E +CSQ1 CSQXREPO Unable to open
    QUEUE(SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.CLUS1.CHL1), MQCC=2 MQRC=2085
    (MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME)

Local fix

  • use CSQUDMSG (QLOAD) to get the unwanted messages by a hex
    MsgId using the '-gxm' option

    ****************************************************************
After removing a Queue Manager from a cluster and deleting a
locally defined auto-defined split cluster transmit queue and
restarting the Queue Manager the message CSQX036E is seen in the
logs refering to the deleted auto-defined split cluster transmit
queue. This is caused by an attempt to reconcile known cluster
transmit queues during Queue Manager startup. If the queue has
been locally deleted but records of the queue still exist on the
SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNQ then an attempt to open this queue will be
    made that subsequently fails.

Problem conclusion

  • No attempts to reconcile cluster transmit queues will be made if
    they have been locally deleted.
