• The error message ICE046A may be issued in DFSORT due to invalid
  sort when all the following conditions are met:
  - Index Builder processes PHIDAM which has PSINDEX
  - Index Builder is invoked by DRF or the HALDB Serial scan is
    used in Index Builder
  - BLD_ILDS and ILDS INITONLY are specified
  - BLD_PRIMARY is specified
  - BLD_SECONDARY is not specified

  - BLD_PRIMARY is specified
  - BLD_SECONDARY is not specified
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS Index Builder has been modified to correct the conditions
  of invoking level sort.
