Error description

• This APAR enables IMS Tools Setup to configure IMS High
  Performance Pointer Checker running under IMS Database Recovery
  Facility in an IMS managed ACBs environment.

  *                      Checker to run as an integrated         *
  *                      auxiliary utility of IMS Database       *
  *                      Recovery Facility in an IMS-managed     *
  *                      ACBs environment.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF for this APAR.                 *

  IMS Database Recovery Facility can invoke the HD Pointer Checker
  utility of IMS HP Pointer Checker to run HASH Check.
  This feature is also available in IMS-managed ACBs environment
  if PTFs for APAR PH60967 (IMS HP Pointer Checker) and APAR
  PH60997 (IMS Database Recovery Facility) are applied.
  
  This APAR enables IMS Tools Setup to configure IMS HP Pointer
  Checker to obtain information from the IMS catalog instead of
  the DBD library.
