PH62130: IBM MQ Z/OS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION CAPTURED IN PLR PROCESSING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• S026 abends followed by abnormal termination with reason
  REASON=00C510AB.However the abend dump does not give any
  indication of exactly what went wrong to cause PLR phase 1 to
  end prematurely, and even had trace been available, the hang
  condition is only flagged several minutes later and so the
  necessary trace records may not have been available.

  An abend during Peer Level Recovery Phase 1 that produces a dump
  does not have an adequate amount of information in it to allow
  diagnosis as to what caused the abend to occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• Additional Peer Level Recovery trace has been added to Phase 1
  of Peer Level Recovery to assist with diagnosing problems in
  this area of code.
