Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty ND * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: API docuementation for collective * * maitenance mode APIs incorrectly * * listed the GET HTTP method. When * * called with a GET HTTP method, the * * service returned HTTP 422 (no * * content). * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The maintenance mode collective APIs expect a POST with a body only.
Problem conclusion
API documents are updated to only advertise the HTTP POST method. The API itself now returns HTTP 405 (invalid method) when called via an incorrect method. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack 24.0.0.8. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates for WebSphere Application Server': https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/715553
