PH62090: This PTF will update the dscli for zOS to version 89.40.262.0

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• This PTF will upgrade the existing DSCLI for zOS bundle to the
  version specified in the sysmod title.
  

Local fix

• This version of dscli includes support for passtickets which
  introduces a new command
  managepassticket
  
  In order to use the feature the standard credentials need to
  be used initially, then issue the command with the parameter
  -key and pass in the passticket key
  the command also needs a second parameter
  -appname LDAPSRV
  
  Once this command is run the dscli will automatically update
  the folder profile/dscli.profile
  
  This file needs to be manually copied to the users home
  directory. For example if the home directory is /
  cp /opt/IBM/CSMDSCLI/profile/dscli.profile /dscli/profile/hmc_id
  
  where hmd_id is the shortname used for the hmc.
  
  The next time the dscli is invoked use the following format
  to use the passticket
  dscli -hmc1 your.hmc.dns.name -cfg hmc_id -user YOUR_USER
  
  The dscli will now calculate the passticket from the key and
  and user credential use this TOTP to authenticate to the
  HMC.

Problem conclusion

• The DSCLI product will be updated after the PTF has been
  applied. Ensure that the post installation job
  IWNISNT2 is submitted upon completion of the SMP/e installation.
