PH62031: CICS DUMP FORMATTER NOT REPORTING DUMP IS BEING FORMATTED AT WRONG RELEASE.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A partial CICS dump was missing the part needed for the dump
  formatter to check the CICS version. The formatter bypasses the
  code and carries on with your chosen version of the IPCS dump
  formatter without any warning that this may not match the
  version of the CICS dump.   This apar is being taken so that we
  issue a warning message about the inconplete dump.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A user entered the incorrect version of *
  *                      CICS on the IPCS VERBX command but the  *
  *                      expected message DFHPD0131 was not      *
  *                      output and the dump was formatted.      *
  ****************************************************************
  A partial dump did not contain the storage with the address of
  the AFCB that is needed to find the CSA pointer. In this case
  the code bypasses the CICS version check that would have issued
  message DFHPD0131 for the mismatch. The dump gets formatted.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHPDX1 has been changed to check that the CSA is found and if
  not, to try and locate it. It will then do the version check and
  if there is a mismatch, will issue message DFHPD0131 and not
  format the dump. It will issue new message DFHPD0132 if it
  detects a partial dump.
  
  The Docs will be changed to add new message DFHPD0132.
