Error description
Db2 HPU assumes that the datasets used as input image copies (either provided by the user or automatically determined by searching the DB2 catalog) needed for the COPYDDN option are valid. If this requirement is not fulfilled, Db2 HPU can unload incorrect data without any notification to the user. For example, the unload produces zero rows and completes with a normal completion code if all the following conditions are fulfilled: - the image copy must be sorted - the record size of the image copy is lower than the page size of the target tablespace - the first record of the image copy is not recognized as an header page of an image copy : i.e. the value of the character at offset 11 is equal neither to X38' nor to x18' Db2 HPU should do some basic checking of the content of the datasets used as input images copies to detect obviously incorrect datasets.
