PH61812: OBJECT COMPARE FAILS TO DROP THE VIEW OF A HISTORY TABLE WHEN ALTERING THE DEFAULT VALUE OF A COLUMN

Error description

• When altering the default column values of a temporal table and
  its history table, Object Compare will fail to recreate the
  views on the history table. This leads to a SQLCODE = -650 when
  trying to alter the history table as the drop of the view is
  needed to alter the default column values. Object Compare should
  properly recreate the views of the history table to allow for
  the alter to complete successfully.

  If you are altering the default column values of a temporal
  table and its history table, Object Compare fails to
  recreate the views on the history table. This behavior leads to
  an SQLCODE -650 when trying to alter the history table, because

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed. Object Compare will properly
  recreate the views of the history table to allow the alter
  operation to complete.
