Error description
During migration, users might run into the below error or something similar when running the WASPreUpgrade.sh script from the remote migration jar file's bin folder: You specified a JAVA_HOME location of /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/java/8.0/ .properties: No such file or directoryperties/sdk/8.0_64 .properties: No such file or directoryperties/sdk/8.0_64 .properties: No such file or directoryperties/sdk/8.0_64 The JDK provided by the createRemoteMigrJar file is for a system and cannot be run on this linux system. You can rerun the createRemoteMigrJar script with -includeJava false option. WASPreUpgrade aborted.... This issue occurs when migrating from Linux to Windows.

Problem conclusion
The startup script needed to be adjusted for WASPreUpgrade. This fix is targetted for 8.5.5.27 and 9.0.5.22.
