PH61129: S0C4 ABEND IN AUILOG00 POSSIBLE DUE TO INVALID CCKEY OR SEGMENT DATA ADDRESSES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There is the potential for a S0C4 ABEND in module AUILOG00 due
  to an invalid CCKEY or Segment data address being recorded.
  The S0C4 can occur if the address obtained, causes a protection
  exception, which may or may not be the case.
  If the S0C4 does occur, the ESTAE recovery process in AUILOG00
  will disable auditing until the IMS is restarted.
  The invalid CCKEY and Segment data address can be produced when:
  1) The user has requested that DLI calls that receive a GE
  Status code (Segment unavailable) be audited and sent to the
  appliance.
  2) The DLI call that hits or exceeds the message AUII050I (DLI
  call counts) frequency limit is slated to not be audited.
  This APAR can be installed without restarting the IMS online
  sub-system by following the IMS STAP Dynamic IMS Maintenance
  Enablement (DIME) processes.
