• IBM Wazi Deploy  -  v3.0.2
  
  After the upgrade to IBM Wazi Deploy v3.0.2 (from v3.0.1), the
  following error message during the wazideploy-generate command
  is displayed:
  FSUM7171 manifest.yml: cannot set uid/gid: EDC5139I Operation
  not permitted.\ntar

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 01. The Wazi Deploy generate command    *
  *                          fails during the expansion of the   *
  *                          tar file.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  01.After the upgrade to IBM Wazi Deploy v3.0.2 (from v3.0.1),
     the following error message during the wazideploy-generate
     command is displayed:
     FSUM7171 manifest.yml: cannot set uid/gid:
     EDC5139I Operation not permitted.
     With the z/OS tar command if the tar file was built with
     -U -X option (which preserve z/OS attributesand ACL) , there
     is no way to disable restoring the ACL attributes during the
     expansion of the tar file. So if we expand the tar file with
     a different user or z/OS we will have messages printed and a
     non-zero return code even if the tar is correctly
     uncompressed.
  

Problem conclusion

• 01.Provided better control of the tar output command.
