PH60866: ABEND 5C6-00E50038 ACELIM LIMIT REACHED 24/04/19 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• When ACELIM is  exceeded, this means that a different code path
  is driven in CSQVGACE when getting an ACE. If the logic finds a
  free ACE on the VGCAACED chain which has been allocated from a
  system only segment then it frees the ACE back to the PHB.
  Since APAR PH44903/PH57314, with V920 PTF UI94293, this results
  in diagnostic exit CSQVPDAC being driven. This issues the
  5C6-00E50038 abend due to the ACE failing an eyecatcher test.

  *                      also terminate. The problem occurs      *
  *                      after PTF UI94292 or UI94293 have been  *
  *                      applied.                                *

  PTFs UI94292 and UI94293 added extra diagnostic checking when
  freeing an ACE control block. As part of this diagnostic
  checking, the ACE control block eyecatcher is validated. When an
  ACE is freed from CSQVGACE, an alternative control block
  eyecatcher is used. This is unexpected by the logic in CSQVPDAC
  which results in an S5C6-00E50038 abend being taken.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQVGACE has been changed to set the correct ACE control block
  eyecatcher before freeing the control block.
