  This APAR delivers the following enhancement for CICS PA:-
  
  1. This APAR introduces support for CICS Transaction Server
     6.2, including support for new CMF fields, statistics
     fields and records.
  
  2. Idea CICSPA-I-95 requests the increase Selection Criteria
     value input field length to greater than 8 characters.
  
  3. CICSPA-I-110 requests allowing APPLID and resource
     filtering against CICS PA HDBs
  
  4. Update Container sample Forms CCLST, CCSUM to include field
     PGCSTHWM.
  
  5. Enhance Queue Manager and External Sort to remove 255 bytes
     key length limit
  
  6. Support z/OS Connect SMF 123 Server Feature field
  
  7. Implement new CICS PA derived field MAXTSKPC to display
     CURTASKS as a percentage of MAXTASKS
  
  8. Add new Statistics derived field QR TCB Dispatch / Interval
     Ratio in the Dispatcher TCB Modes record and sample Alerts
  
  9. The latest CICS PA Dashboards now include z/OS Connect EE
     Requester records. Sample Report Set ANALYTIC definitions
     must be updated to extract the Requester records.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes are included:-
  
  1. Support all new CICS TS 6.2 Performance and Statistics
     records and fields, including in Forms, Templates and all
     reports that reference Performance and Statistics records.
  
     New CICS PA plugin for CICS Explorer Template:
     APPLNM62 Summary Explorer HDB for App Cntx 6.2
     EXPLOR62 Summary Explorer HDB for CICS TS 6.2
     EXPLST62 List    Explorer HDB for CICS TS 6.2
  
  2. Idea CICSPA-I-95 is delivered in this APAR by enhancing
     batch command and selection criteria processing to accept
     Selection Criteria field values greater than 8 characters,
     with maximum length of 128 characters. This enhancement
     gives the user much more flexibility in specifying specific
     field values.
  
  3. CICSPA-I-110 is delivered in this APAR by giving the user
     the option of specifying APPLID(s) and MVSID(s) in
     Historical Database (HDB) Load. This enhancement gives the
     user the ability to limit the HDB to desired APPLIDs and
     MVSIDs.
  
  4. Update Container sample Forms CCLST, CCSUM to include field
     PGCSTHWM. Field PGCSTHWM was added to monitor the storage
     allocated to containers for a user task.
  
  5. The APAR increases the maximum summary key length from 255
     to 4096 bytes, giving the user the ability to include long
     fields in the summary key. This change applies to all
     summary style reports as well as summary Historical
     Databases (HDB).
  
  6. Support z/OS Connect SMF 123 Server Feature field by
     displaying its value in the z/OS Connect EE List report and
     allowing it to be specified as a key field in the Summary
     report.
  
  7. This APAR introduces CICS PA Performance derived field
     MAXTSKPC. This field reports the CURTASKS value as a
     percentage of MAXTASKS, giving the user an indication of the
     CICS region task load. This field is available in all
     Performance Forms and user defined Templates.
  
  8. This APAR introduces CICS PA Statistics derived field
     DSGQRDSPINR. This field provides QR TCB Dispatch / Interval
     ratio in the Dispatcher TCB Modes record.
     This fields gives the user a way to describe and measure how
     busy a CICS region's QR TCB is.  This is important because a
     common cause of CICS transaction response time problems is a
     QR TCB that is too busy.
     This field is supported in all CICS PA Statistics functions.
  
  9. This APAR delivers update to Sample Report Set ANALYTIC
     definitions to support the latest version of the CICS PA
     Dashboards that include z/OS Connect EE Requester records.
